So i've been doing some VFR flying recently in a Cessna. I tend to fly around the UK as I know more about the area. I always take off from where I last landed to keep the "tour" as real as I can.
I recently flew from London Southend Airport EGMC to London City Airport. Real World weather is always interesting and getting in a thunderstorm at around FL250 was quite scary. With no Auto Pilot & ILS on board I opted to get vectors to final and luckliy the usually inconsistent FSX ATC actually got it right! With some hefty cross winds and poor visibility I managed to get down in one piece (just!) Although a Boeing 737 (which doesnt land at London City in real life due to noise restrictions and a steep glideslop) almost hit me when it pulled on to the runway once on final!
So how often do you fly VFR and do you have any good tales to tell?!

FSX Settings - The best for your system?!
I have had a lot of emails recently requesting that I give people exact FSX settings for their system specs. I dont have the time to reply to everyone directly! (over 10 a day atm!)
I will soon be putting together some system settings files for people to download from here so that you can download the file > load it in to FSX > then enjoy flying!
You can contact me via this blog or at my YouTube channel! (link at the very bottom!)
In the mean time I have put up some of my FSX settings video tutorials. Stay tuned!
Remember I do not claim to know it all but from my testing I have found some things work better than others, so why not share it?!
Remember to subscribe on YouTube and also here to keep up to date with all my videos and posts! You never know I may just be able to help you out! - Thanks :D
